This online module has been designed to introduce students to the life and spirituality of the 20th century Dutch Carmelite martyr, Blessed Titus Brandsma. It covers such topics as:


  • his life and times

  • his writings on Carmelite spirituality

  • his opposition to the Nazi regime in Holland

  • his martyrdom and beatification
  • his Christo-centric, priestly spirituality.
