This module is an introduction to the life and times of one of the great reformers of the Carmelite Order, who was also significant for the development of Carmelite nuns and lay Carmelites. We will be looking at 

1. The world of Blessed John Soreth;

2. Decline and decay within the Carmelite Order;

3. Movements of reform;

4. The Carmelite nuns;

5. The legacy of Blessed John Soreth.
